Andrew Melsom,
Senior Partner

Prior to founding Agency Insight in 1992, Andrew worked for agencies including FCB and then J. Walter Thompson. He set up BMB Business - backed by BMP, which became the leading agency in the finance, coporate and telecommuncations sector. The agency launched Cable & Wireless and Mercury in the UK. Clients included Halifax, Salomon Brothers, American Express, Costain, Axa, British Aerospace and BP. He sold his interest in the agency to Omnicom. 

Andrew has written and appeared in a West End show 'Channel 4' at the Duke of York's Theatre, written several books for Debrett's, and is a regular contributor to Market Leader and Campaign - and he is a book reviewer for The Irish Examiner. He served on the IPA CAP committee for 18 years and has recently served as a judge for the IPA Effectiveness awards. 

Chris Fry,
Managing Partner

Chris has over 20 years experience working at the sharp end of brand creation, customer acquisition and retention in fast-moving consumer, service and entertainment brands. Chris joined as an Agency Insight partner from Telewest Cable (now Virgin Media) in 2002. As Director of Marketing at Telewest, Chris re-launched the brand and delivered major new brands such as BlueYonder, Talk and Surf Unlimited.

In addition, Chris is a strategic marketing advisor to The Royal Marsden Hospital since 2002, a Sloan Fellow from London Business School, and a visiting lecturer for Advertising and Mass Communications at Westminster University since 2012. e: chris@agencyinsight.com m:+44 (0)7768 157 343

Birgitta Olson,

Birgitta joined Agency Insight from Nikon where she was General Manager of Global Strategic Marketing and Research at Nikon HQ. She has 25 years’experience in various marketing roles with leading consumer goods brands, electronics, technology, services and apparel. Defining agency support networks and efficient regional as well as local structures within advertising, media, brand and digital has been a key focus of her work. She is passionate about the consumer and how to deliver impactful creative and efficient marketing that drives sales.  This is underlined by both  European and local Effie awards, Sabres award, IPA award as well as Nikon internal awards her team at Nikon Europe received.  

Birgitta has held various international positions with brands such as EF, J&J, Adobe Systems, Ericsson, Tretorn and, most recently with Nikon in Amsterdam and Nikon Singapore.
