Andrew Melsom - Senior Partner

Andrew has 25 years experience working with agencies and clients. He worked for J.Walter Thompson in front line roles for twelve years, firstly in account management and then switched to the creative side of the business.

Andrew left JWT to set up his own agency, BMP Business. This agency launched Cable and Wireless and Mercury in the UK and other clients included Halifax, Costain, Axa, British Aerospace and BP. He sold his interest in the company in 1991.

Since then, Andrew has worked exclusively for clients advising them on all aspects of strategy and agency search and selection.

Andrew founded Agency Insight because he believed that true insight and impartiality in the agency selection process was not available to clients.
In addition, he has written and appeared in a West End show - called 'Channel 4' at the Duke of York's Theatre, has written several books for Debrett's the publisher, is a regular contributor to Market Leader and writes book reviews for the Irish Examiner.
Andrew is married, lives in Wiltshire and London, enjoys various country pursuits, international rugby and is an avid watcher of cricket. He has three children - all growing up fast.
